Localization for e-learning packages

Bring the course
you already have.

You already publish to an LMS. When you need that course in other languages, upload the package, choose the languages, review the result, and export. The course itself is never rebuilt.

Enough for a typical course in one language. Reading and pricing a package is always free.

Safety induction

Drop a published package

SCORM, xAPI, cmi5, or AICC. Zip files, as you export them.

01Why this exists

Two ways to localize a course. Neither is built for the package you already have.

Hand-off

Send it out for translation

Export to XLIFF or a similar hand-off, then wait on a translation team. The quality can be high. The work is slow, expensive, and awkward to run across many languages.

In-tool

Use the authoring tool's own feature

Some platforms sell localization inside the tool. That removes a few steps. The price can still stop a programme that needs more than one or two languages.

Linguinee is the localization workflow around the package. The speed of AI, at a price you see before anything runs.

02How it works

Import, analyze, translate, review, export.

The same loop you will use in the product. This is a walkthrough, not a live course.

Import the package

Drop the zip you already export to an LMS. Linguinee reads it as published, not as a source file.

03Two ways not to start over

Pay for what is new. Leave the rest alone.

Add a language

Already have some languages? Keep them. Adding Portuguese bills Portuguese. We do not rewrite what is already in the package.

This job: Portuguese · 369.37 credits

Removing a language and asking us to translate it again is a new job.

Sync-up

Updated your course? Don't translate everything again. Unchanged sentences keep their translation. The quote is the delta.

words changed in the example

20,000 words become 20,500. 500 words changed.

04Review

AI does the heavy lifting. Humans stay in control.

Source on the left, translation on the right. Approve a row and it leaves the queue. Fill-in-the-blank answers that also grade the learner are held for a person.

  • Unlimited reviewers

No per-seat charge. Invite as many people as the course needs.

  • Scoped to the work

A reviewer can be limited to a course, and to particular languages.

  • Review only

They can edit and approve. They cannot translate, export, or open settings.

05Export

Ship one language, or all of them.

Build Portuguese on its own, or English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese together. A language can live on its own in the package, or all of them can live together in the same package. Exports of work you have already paid for are free to rebuild.

The package you already publish.

Rise, Storyline, Captivate, and other tools that publish LMS packages. That package is what Linguinee reads. Project files stay in the authoring tool. 39 target languages. Generated packages stay available for a month.
