Privacy

Application data is stored in Canada. That includes accounts, uploaded packages, catalogs, review decisions, and generated packages.

We store the email and password you sign in with, the organisation name, size and role collected at signup, the packages you upload, the extracted catalogs, translations and review edits, billing ledger rows, and invitations. We do not store card numbers. Payments go through Stripe.

To translate a course, translatable text is sent to Anthropic. Anthropic processes that text on its own infrastructure, which is not in Canada. Linguinee does not claim a separate training or retention promise of its own. Anthropic's commercial terms govern how they handle customer content sent through their API. A session cookie keeps you signed in. A theme cookie remembers light, dark, or system. Both stay on this site.

Sign-in, sign-up and password reset show an hCaptcha check. That check runs on hCaptcha's servers and may set cookies on their domain. It is there to stop automated account creation, not to build a profile of you.

Vercel Analytics records aggregate page views. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not sold.

Generated packages stay available for a month, then they are removed. Account records and catalogs remain while the account does. You can delete a course, an upload, a language, or the account from Settings.
